چکیده
To prevent the staggering degradation of environment, restrictions in use plant protection products and fertilizers are being strengthened every year. Therefore, methods for improving tolerance to unfavorable environmental conditions sought positively affect both plants natural environment. Here, we evaluated compared efficacy four commercial biostimulants on winter wheat drought stress. The effects following biological agents: Bacillus sp., soil bacterial strains, free amino acids, humic substances were assessed a pot experiment under full hydration moisture drought. Among studied biostimulants, two based strains had strongest beneficial In treated with either these two, highest level CO2 assimilation was recorded Moreover, same plants, decrease transpiration value due smallest. stomatal conductance also noted plants. results chlorophyll fluorescence indicate smallest damage photosynthetic apparatus which used. Under drought, lowest initial values preparations, as maximum fluorescence. On other hand, parameter indicating stress reduced all except those one preparations. Another showing efficiency light photons photosynthesis process increased only whereas it decreased observed most effective work such by fastest transport electrons through photosystems Additionally, grain yield obtained resistance index indicated that among tested formulations, preparations scored best. is recommended comparative studies field, help combat drought-related losses wheat.

Vernalisation Response of Some Winter Wheat Cultivars (Triticum aestivum L.)
For 17 cultivars of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) different vernalisation and photoperiod responses were detected. The effect of photoperiod sensitivity was not significantly changed by vernalisation; different vernalisation responses were probably due to the presence of multiple alleles at Vrn loci. The delay in heading depended on the vernalisation deficit exponentially: y = parameter (...
متن کاملPhysiological assessment of drought tolerance in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) varieties under moisture stress conditions
Drought is one of the major limiting factors in wheat production in Pakistan. Five commercial wheat varieties; Chakwal-97, Inqilab-91, Margalla-99, NR-234 and Wafaq2001 were grown in pots in glasshouse. Plants were subjected to three consecutive drought cycles at tillering, pre-anthesis and milky growth stages by withholding water till leaf rolling started. Measurements of physiological respons...
متن کاملGrowth Response of Winter Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and Wild Barley (Hordeum spontaneum Koch) to Nitrogen
A greenhouse study was conducted to investigate the effects of nitrogen (N) on wild barley (Hordeum spontaneum Koch) interference with winter wheat (Triticum aestivum var. Pishtaz) by an additive series experiment. The experiment was conducted in a split plot design with 3 replications. Wheat plant height losses were on average 30, 10, and 10% in a wild barley density of 16 plants per pot with ...

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of mineral fertilization on the activity of alkaline and acid phosphatase and content of available phosphorus in soil under winter wheat cultivation. The fi rst factor of experiment was the fertilization with P, K, Mg, Ca and S in six levels: 1 (P, K, Mg, Ca and S), 2 (K, Mg, Ca and S), 3 (P, Mg, Ca and S), 4 (P, K, Ca and S), 5 (P, K, Mg, Ca), ...
